Hi

I spent many hours and days trying to figure this one out and have not gotten far. My data looks is like this:

Column1: SubjectIDs: contain subject ids from sbj1..sbj10

Column2: contain TimePoints each Subject from 1-10 has 3 TImepoints (Day 0, Day 0 and Day 0)

Column3: contain Groups information: Subject 1-5 belong to Group 1 (Controls) and Group 2 Subject 6-10 (Treatment)

Column 6-20: Contain different proteins levels that was measured for each subject for each Timepoint

My question, can someone show me exactly the Design formula and code using lme4 and other packages to find the p-value that compares using the paired samples across the Timepoints

Day 1 versus Day 0 for Group 1

Day 1 versus Day 0 for Group 2

Day 2 versus Day 0 for Group 1

Day 2 versus Day 0 for Group 2

Day 7 versus Day 0 for Group 1

Day 7 versus Day 0 for Group 2

I can do this using paired t test and Wilcoxin Rank Sum and get the (BH) adjusted pvalues but I have great problems trying to do the same thing using lme4 and whatever else packages is needed to find pvalues.

Thank you very much in advance...
