Hi,

I have upgraded my mac to high sierra and are in need of rum´nning edgeR- the problem is that the package limma does not work under the R-version that I am forced to use (3.4.3)- so does anyone know if there is a way around this, or if the package are about to be upgraded?

Thanks!

Best,

Annette

limma certainly does work for R 3.4.3, and indeed for any version of R. You install it the same way you install any other Bioconductor package.

R 3.4.3 is the standard current version of R that we (the Bioc developers) are all using. There aren't any problems with it.

What makes you say that limma "does not work"? It's a bit hard to imagine what the problem might be. Are you saying that you can't install any Bioconductor packages?

Actually, I have the same problem with several packages since R gives this warning the package is available for version 3.4.3. I don't know it is a bug or something, but using biocLite or devtools installations instead of install.packages command usually work.
