I'm using text2vec package in one of my R scripts and when I try to execute it on a Linux server (alpine flavor), the package isn't getting installed for some reason. I'm using other packages such as stringr, tm and RPostgres. I have no problem installing and loading these and using the associated functions. The error I'm getting is this : 

ERROR: lazy loading failed for package ‘text2vec’.

While the folks at github insist that the issue could be because Rcpp wasn't installled proper and that Rcpp should be reinstalled, doing as they suggest doesn't solve the problem.

Can someone please help me out?

FYI - I'm using R 3.4.2 and Alpine Linux v3.7
