Hi All,

Firstly I have very little experience in R (I am a wet lab person); so if this is not the correct forum for this question please ignore it. I am using Gviz to plot transcripts from 5 different tissues. I have independent gtf files for each of the five tissues . Now, I want to highlight the transcripts which are present only in one tissue. Can it be possible to do with Gviz ? Or the community member is having any other suggestion?

Thanks

Hi, my suggestion is to go through the entire vignette / user guide at least once, and then you should be able to adapt the code to suit your own situation. The vignette is located here: The Gviz User Guide.

There are likely other non-Bioconductor solutions - you could search Biostars postings for those.

Thanks Kevin. I will go through the vignette. I can make the plots showing transcripts. But struggling to highlight the per tissue unique ones. I will also search through the biostars. Thanks for the suggestion again.

For help with that specific use-case, though, i.e., "highlight the per tissue unique ones", you will have to provide code that you have already tried, and a mini reproducible sample dataset. Otherwise, we can only really speculate about what you want, exactly.
