Dear Bioconductors, we are in the process of testing new routines for GO analysis and would like to use the same version of the gene_ontology.obo file for the Bioconductor routines as well as other software. Is there any way of importing a current version of this data into Bioconductor so it can be used with the other packages? Thanks, Peter

I believe that I have located the source files for gene_ontology.obo that go with the last release of BioConductor. This would provide you with a matching set of source and package for GO. If you are planning on changing code that looks at GO, then I suspect this will do the trick for you. Please reply to my off list email if you would like the source file we used and I will send it on.
