Hi, Posting on the site is not currently possible, but we could think about it. Short, email announcements to the list have not caused much concern, so my suggestion would be to post a job advertisement to the list, with an appropriate title (like job advertisement), so those that are not interested can easily delete it, best wishes Robert Turpin, Jennifer wrote: > Good afternoon. Jennifer, > Good afternoon. I would like to post some positions on your site. Is this possible? There is an R special interest group (SIG) for posting jobs on our newsgroup. Please go to: https://stat.ethz.ch/mailman/listinfo/r-sig-jobs to read more. You'll need to subscribe to the group to post. Please read the instructions on postings. It looks like your message was not sent in plain text. You would need to change that. Thanks, Max

Dear Max, thanks for pointing out the SIG for job announcements. I am not so sure whether it is realistic to expect that many users are organised enough to maintain many different mailing list subscriptions for all sorts of sub-topics, so in order to reach the greatest number of potentially interested readers, while annoying the others as little as possible, I agree with what Robert said earlier in this thread: "Short, email announcements to the list have not caused much concern, so my suggestion would be to post a job advertisement to the list, with an appropriate title (like job advertisement)..." An informative subjective line is essential net-iquette.
