The Division of Quantitative Sciences at the University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center is seeking highly motivated statistical analysts with expertise in biostatistics and bioinformatics. The successful candidate will join a team of biostatisticians and bioinformaticians working on a wide variety of collaborative projects in cancer research. The positions will have a primary focus in bioinformatics. Requirements: MS in bioinformatics, biostatistics, statistics, computing or related fields with significant analytical experience with high throughput data. Excellent communication skills, working knowledge of Windows and/or UNIX operating systems and proficiency in S-Plus/R, SAS, C, Perl or similar packages are essential. Work experience in medical/biomedical research is a plus. Flexible work environment. Competitive salary and benefits.
