Hi, I would like to know of any scale-normalization functions that are equivalent to maNormScale in the view of its semantics. As far as I know, scale normalization adjusts the range of data, rather than the center of the distribution. The above mentioned function is capable of finding MAD over the geometric means. My question is on having an equivalent method which supports AffyBatch objects. Secondly, in which situations would you recommend to scale-normalize your data in this manner ?
