We have adjusted and streamlined the new package submission process, as outlined here: http://wiki.fhcrc.org/bioc/HowTo/Package_Contribution The new contribution process emphasizes production of technically correct packages meeting standards of functionality, documentation, and interoperability. These changes take effect immediately; previously submitted packages will be processed following the original approach. We're also taking this opportunity to transfer the primary contact for new package submissions to Chao-Jen Wong (see the Contact Information section of the web page mentioned above); Nishant Gopalakrishnan has done an excellent job moving packages through the submission process for more than a year.
