Hi, I'm doing some analysis of a set of Illumina MouseWG-6 v2 beadchip microarrays with bioconductor, but I'm hainvg some problems finding an R annotation file that matches this array. Could someone tell me what the right package to use with these arrays is? I've tried using the "illuminaMousev2BeadID.db" package (which seems like it should be the right one) but the datafile has some 'ProbeID's that aren't in this database (e.g. 3310215). -- Cheers, Nick Schurch Data Analysis Group (The Barton Group), School of Life Sciences, University of Dundee, Dow St, Dundee, DD1 5EH, Scotland, UK Tel: +44 1382 388707 Fax: +44 1382 345 893

Hi Nick, If you are having a hard time finding an annotation package that is exactly what you used for the experiment, you can also just generate one. Just follow the SQLForge vignette from the AnnotationDbi package. You can find this here: http://www.bioconductor.org/packages/release/bioc/html/AnnotationDbi.h tml Once you have generated the package, you can just build and install it as any other R package. Let me know if you have further questions, Marc On 04/09/2010 07:50 AM, Nick Schurch wrote: > Hi, > > I'm doing some analysis of a set of Illumina MouseWG-6 v2 beadchip > microarrays with bioconductor, but I'm hainvg some problems finding an > R annotation file that matches this array.
