Dear Sir/Madam, I am Ramani doing PhD in Oncocellomics. With your brief explanation about GEO query using R package, I have started to download GSE5975 profile from GEO. I want to download and save that profile which will be import in Excel. I got an error like *Error in is.vector(X) : could not find function "GSMList"* * * * Can you please give me your suggestions for writing script to obtain the metadata.* -- Ramani Gopal [[alternative HTML version deleted]]

The GSE series matrix files are designed specifically for loading into excel. Just download that file from the NCBI GEO website and open it in excel.
