Can anyone recommend a way to derive a list of oncogenes (even an inexact list) from the annotation packages, org.Hs.eg or something else? Thanks. - Paul

This isn't exactly what you want, but there's a "Cancer Gene Census" list you can get from here: http://www.sanger.ac.uk/genetics/CGP/Census/ They list genes (by symbol & entrez id) and things like the types of tumors they're found in, type of mutation, etc. There's no oncogene/tumor-suppressor column, though ... Perhaps there are better sources, but there's one. -steve -- Steve Lianoglou Graduate Student: Computational Systems Biology ?| Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center ?| Weill Medical College of Cornell University Contact Info: http://cbio.mskcc.org/~lianos/contact
