Hi, Very much a newbie here. I'm looking for a way to input a gene id, such as 'ENSG00000163346' and determine whether it might be ribosomal. Anybody familiar with a way to accomplish this with a few lines of code? I'd be most greatful. Thanks, Jonathan

"ribosomal" RNA? protein?... Try "biomaRt" package. It may have what you want, but you have to figure out yourself. ...Tao ----- Original Message ---- > From: Jon BR <jonsleepy at="" gmail.com=""> > To: bioconductor at r-project.org > Sent: Thu, May 5, 2011 4:58:54 PM > Subject: [BioC] mapping a gene id to determine if it's ribosomal > > Hi, > Very much a newbie here. > > I'm looking for a way to input a gene id, such as 'ENSG00000163346' > > and determine whether it might be ribosomal. > > Anybody familiar with a way to accomplish this with a few lines of > code?
