Dear colleagues, We would like to introduce a new tool called “CU-DREAM” for intersecting two microarray datasets. CU-DREAM compares the datasets of two microarray experiments (reported in http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/geo) with different conditions to determine if the two conditions share genome wide gene regulation pathway. CU-DREAM is an effective tool for the pre-screening of drugs, substances or environmental insults or the identification of the genetic changes that are associated with pathological conditions. For more information please find the CU-DREAM article at http://abm.digitaljournals.org/index.php/abm/article/view/589/431 CU-DREAM(X) can intersect a GSE dataset with “a gene set.” This program is designed to find the association between up or down regulation of certain GSE microarray experiments and a group of certain genes. Example of CU-DREAM(X) comparing gene expression and gene containing intragenic LINE-1 (long interspersed nuclear element-1) can be found at http://ww w.plosone.org/article/info:doi%2F10.1371%2Fjournal.pone.0017934 All materials (executable file, user manual, examples) can be downloaded at the project homepage: http://pioneer.netserv.chula.ac.th/~achatcha/cu-dream Please reference CU-DREAM and CU-DREAM(X) as follow.
