Dear users, Has anyone applied weighted gene co-expression network analysis in a RNA-seq dataset? Would the results be reliable? (I'm not questioning the credibility of WGCNA package) I remember the correlation of genes being discussed in this list before. If I understood correctly, clustering genes using RNA-seq data was not a well accepted practice. However, I have seen a paper using self-organizing map (SOM) algorithm to cluster genes from RNA-seq data. Any commentary or suggestion will be welcome. Thanks in advance Best regards, Fernando [[alternative HTML version deleted]]
