I am currently using DESeq_1.5.23 and need to identify DEGs using RNA- Seq read count data. As I hv no replicates wid me I had to go wid estimateDispersions command wid method="blind", and got very few DEGs (~10 only) along wid d warning msg to use "sharingMode=fit-only " using which I am gettin ~1250 DEGs. On performing the d same experiment wid older DESeq_1.5.1, I am getting ~2050 DEGs. I am confused on which result I should rely upon??????? Can u please suggest me which result is more significant????????? -- Pushp Priya NIPGR, New Delhi India [[alternative HTML version deleted]]
