Hi, I was using DEXSeq package for exon differential analysis. I got the following error message. Could anyone help? thanks a lot. Bin ---------------------------------------------------- > esc_data <- estimateDispersions(esc_data) Dispersion estimation. (Progress report: one dot per 100 genes) .............................................................Error in glm.fit(x = numeric(0), y = numeric(0), weights = NULL, start = c(0.1, : object 'fit' not found In addition: Warning messages: 1: In glm.fit(x = numeric(0), y = numeric(0), weights = NULL, start = c(0.1, : no observations informative at iteration 1 2: glm.fit: algorithm did not converge

Hi Bin Could you send the complete code you used being more specific (e.g. from the creation of your object to this step and adding also the session information)?. If possible, it would be good if you could send me your ecs object to have a closer look. Alejandro Reyes Hi, I was using *DEXSeq* package for exon differential analysis. Dear Bin thank you for your feedback. Two suggestions: Please do not cross-post the same question on multiple lists. This is considered impolite because it wastes other people's time. Please consider the posting guide, which asks for: - output of sessionInfo() - a reproducible example. best wishes Wolfgang Sep/22/11 7:33 PM, Liu,Bin scripsit:: > Hi, I was using DEXSeq package for exon differential analysis.
