Hi, I have been trying to run new queries and old queries that used to work before, but I have been getting the following error from BiomaRt: Error in value[[3L]](cond) : Request to BioMart web service failed. Verify if you are still connected to the internet. Alternatively the BioMart web service is temporarily down. Has the server been down lately (e.g. between yesterday afternoon and this morning)? Thanks, Adriana > > [[alternative HTML version deleted]]

Sounds like a possibility, but the best way to find out is to ask the Biomart people. Or perhaps it is already mentioned in their list archives: https://lists.biomart.org/mailman/listinfo/users Dan > > Thanks, > > Adriana > >> >> > > ? ? ? ?[[alternative HTML version deleted]] > > _______________________________________________ > Bioconductor mailing list > Bioconductor at r-project.org > https://stat.ethz.ch/mailman/listinfo/bioconductor > Search the archives: http://news.gmane.org/gmane.science.biology.informatics.conductor

Hi, Thanks for the link to the archives. I checked their archive, but they didn't mention anything about it. Using the link I sent, you can also post to that list and ask if there was downtime.
