Dear list members, I wonder if you could recommend some good generic textbooks on analysing microarrays using R and Bioconductor. I'm tempted by "Statistics and Data Analysis for Microarrays Using R and Bioconductor" by Chapman & Hall, but it's pricey and I would like to hear some opinions/alternatives before I commit. Your input is much appreciated, Aliaksei.

I agree with Wolfgang. Very helpful for beginners. You learn _by doing_. Bioconductor Case Studies http://www.bioconductor.org/help/publications/books/bioconductor-case- studies/ Some other resources are listed at http://www.bioconductor.org/help/publications/ Best wishes, Saroj On Tuesday 17 April 2012 03:18 PM, Aliaksei Holik wrote: > Dear list members, > > I wonder if you could recommend some good generic textbooks on > analysing microarrays using R and Bioconductor.
