Dear list, I?m Bioconductor for Arabidosis AtH1 microarray analysis. I was wondering if there is a way to get expression values for a given gene (probeset), but using only a subset of the probes from the probeset. Thanks to all in advance, Ramiro. -- Dr. Ramiro E. There is some code that was originally written by Ariel Chernomoretz and further modified by Jenny Drnevich that has been used by various people over the years. I am not one of them (the users), so don't know the ins and outs of using the script, but you can find it here: https://stat.ethz.ch/pipermail/bioconductor/2006-September/014242.html Best, Jim > Thanks to all in advance, > Ramiro. > -- James W. Hi Ramiro, Two things. First, repeatedly asking the same question will not gain you any friends. If nobody answers perhaps you could take it upon yourself to figure out how to do this. Second, I answered this question five days ago when you first asked. And you in fact asked this question a second time by responding to the email you got as my response, without even acknowledging that you had already got an answer. This leads me to wonder what was wrong with the answer you already have? Hi Jim, Sorry, but I just missed your response on April 23 to my question, which now I could found, and I of course acknowledge very much. Best, Ramiro. El 26/04/2012 08:04 a.m., James W.
