Dear all, We have been investigating various ways of carrying out supervised clustering analysis in R. We have been working through the 'machine learning lab' manual and under the section of k nearest neighbours, there are example commands as shown below: > library(class) > knn1<-knn(t(expres(trainSet)),t(exprs(testSet)),trainY,k=1) When we type these commands within R we get the following error message: "Error in t(expres(trainSet)) : couldn't find function "expres"." Is this a case of example commands and that the datasets to which it is referring do not actually exist or is there a problem on our part. Does anyone know of examples that have datasets that we can practice on? For reference we are using R version 1.9.0 and the library CLASS is the latest release. Many Thanks for your time and help. I think this might be a typo. Try "exprs" instead of "expres".
