This two day course is described in a preliminary way at https://github.com/vjcitn/bosBiocTrain . Registration form can also be acquired at that site. Academic fee: $450; Commercial fee: $750. All proceeds are used to defray expenses of room rental and to fund the activities of the Bioconductor Foundation of N.A. Inc., a 501(c)3 charitable organization. Course will be held at The Inn at Longwood, 342 Longwood Ave, Boston MA. Day 1: Annotation, experiment archives, and statistical analysis with genome-scale data. Hands-on work will employ the Bioconductor Amazon Machine instance. Attention will be given to version control for analytic code and principles of reproducible research. Day 2: High-performance computing with R for genome-scale analysis. Case studies with microarrays and NGS data examples. Materials at the github repository noted above will be evolving in the coming weeks. A wiki is present there for discussion of course materials and objectives. [[alternative HTML version deleted]]
