Hi Sebastian, RUVSeq is available for the latest version of R (3.1.1), but not for the release version of Bioconductor (2.14). It is available in the 'devel' version of Bioconductor (3.0). Please have a look at this if you want to install the Bioconductor devel version: http://master.bioconductor.org/developers/how-to/useDevel/ Best, davide On Mon, Sep 1, 2014 at 8:33 AM, Sebastian Luna Valero <sebastian.luna.valero at="" gmail.com=""> wrote: > > Dear Davide, > > I am trying to install RUVSeq following the instructions here: > http://www.bioconductor.org/packages/devel/bioc/html/RUVSeq.html > > but I get this output: >> source("http://bioconductor.org/biocLite.R") > Bioconductor version 2.14 (BiocInstaller 1.14.2), ?biocLite for help >> biocLite("RUVSeq") > BioC_mirror: http://bioconductor.org > Using Bioconductor version 2.14 (BiocInstaller 1.14.2), R version > 3.1.0. > Installing package(s) 'RUVSeq' > Warning message: > package 'RUVSeq' is not available (for R version 3.1.0) >> > > I am sorry I do not know what the problem is, could you please help? > > Best regards, > Sebastian. > -- Davide Risso, PhD Post Doctoral Scholar Department of Statistics University of California, Berkeley 344 Li Ka Shing Center, #3370 Berkeley, CA 94720-3370 E-mail: davide.risso at berkeley.edu

UPDATE: Since Bioconductor 3.0 was released it is now recommended to install RUVSeq using the release version of Bioconductor.
