Hello: I would like to install the Bioconductor package on my Windows98 box. I am having trouble with the Install script. What is meant by "source the file into your R session"? I have downloaded the script but have not been successful in getting R to execute the script. I have installed both reposTools and Biobase. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Kurt Wollenberg, PhD Tufts Center for Vision Research/NEMC 750 Washington St, Box 450 kwollenberg@lifespan.org Boston, MA, USA 617-636-9028 (Lab) The most exciting phrase to hear in science, the one that heralds new discoveries, is not "Eureka!" You may try to (1) copy the entire getBioC from bioconductor.org and paste it in an R window or (2) coure the saved version of getBioC from your local machine by clicking the first (left) widget button on top of the screen to get the source code. When that has been done, type getBioC("all") or other arguments based on what you want. >From: "Wollenberg, Kurt R" <kwollenberg@lifespan.org> >To: "'bioconductor@stat.math.ethz.ch'" <bioconductor@stat.math.ethz.ch> >MIME-Version: 1.0 >X-Virus-Scanned: by amavisd-milter (http://amavis.org/) >X-Virus-Scanned: by amavisd-milter (http://amavis.org/) >X-Spam-Status: No, hits=0.7 required=5.0 tests=EXCHANGE_SERVER,SPAM_PHRASE_00_01 version=2.43 >X-Spam-Level: >Subject: [BioC] Bioconductor Install script >X-BeenThere: bioconductor@stat.math.ethz.ch >X-Mailman-Version: 2.0.13 >List-Help: <mailto:bioconductor- request@stat.math.ethz.ch?subject="help"> >List-Post: <mailto:bioconductor@stat.math.ethz.ch> >List-Subscribe: <http: www.stat.math.ethz.ch="" mailman="" listinfo="" bioconductor="">, <mailto:bioconductor-request@stat.math.ethz.ch?subject=subscribe> >List-Id: The Bioconductor Project Mailing List <bioconductor.stat.math.ethz.ch> >List-Unsubscribe: <http: www.stat.math.ethz.ch="" mailman="" listinfo="" bioconductor="">, <mailto:bioconductor-request@stat.math.ethz.ch?subject=unsubscribe> >List-Archive: <http: www.stat.math.ethz.ch="" pipermail="" bioconductor=""/> >Date: Mon, 16 Dec 2002 16:22:32 -0500 > >Hello: > >I would like to install the Bioconductor package on my Windows98 box.
