Hi, I am having trouble with the graphics on GO tools. If I use the ontocompare function to compare multiple gene lists, I can't read the GO ontology terms on the graphic output because the names run off the screen. Also, when I plot a pie chart of GO terms at a high level, there are too many GO terms on the pie chart and I can't read them. regards Anthony -- ______________________________________________ Anthony Bosco - PhD Student Institute for Child Health Research (Company Limited by Guarantee ACN 009 278 755) Subiaco, Western Australia, 6008 Ph 61 8 9489 , Fax 61 8 9489 7700 email anthonyb@ichr.uwa.edu.au

Hi Anthony, You can use par to change your figure margins and font size until you can see the names. Something like this should help: par(mar=c(15,5,5,5), cex=0.7) The graphics get pretty crowded very quickly. A way to reduce the number of terms is to use only ontologies that are of interest to you (you can use Amigo to browse GO and pick the IDs you want for example). If you prefer to use all the terms at a certain level, you can also print all results to a file instead of using the graphic display.
