Dear all

I was wondering if the p-value obtained after performing bicorAndPvalue is a FDR-correct p-value?

Thanks

Bram

The help page doesn't mention any correction of FDR:

A faster, one-step calculation of Student correlation p-values for multiple biweight midcorrelations, properly taking into account the actual number of observations.

I would say it is not FDR corrected, as other p-values calculated on the package. If a value is FDR-corrected then usually is stated so explicitly on the help page like on the help of networkScreening where a q.value is calculated and the help page says:

q.Standard    q-value (local FDR) calculated from p.Standard

Dear Lluis

Many thanks for your answer. I totally agree with your comment but, because of the sentence

"properly taking into account the actual number of observations"

I'm still in doubt if it's FDR corrected.

The p-values are not FDR-corrected. The number of observations refers to the fact that some entries in vectors or matrices 'x' and 'y' may be missing.
