Hi,

for my bachelor thesis I need to compare different normalization methods for flow Cytometry data. In an older paper 'Per-Channel Basis Normalization Methods for Flow Cytometry Data' Hahne and co. describe an algorithm called 'fdaNorm' with which they achieve similar results as with 'gaussNorm'. It used to be a part of the flowStats package.

Apparently 'fdaNorm' is no longer available in the recent flowStats versions. Is there a reason why it has been removed?

Hi,

I think you should the fdaNorm function has been refactored as warpSet. Take also a look at landmarkMatrix and guassNorm functions. Mike or Greg might give you a better feedback.

Best.
