Question: DMRcate DMR.plot Turn Off Group Means

Helllo all, I am having a difficult time figuring out how to turn off the group means part of the DMR.plot function in the DMRcate package, it seems like there would be an easy way to do this, but I cannot figure it out :/ I have tried going through the Gviz package but I think DMRcate is adding in functions and I don't know how I would turn them off. Any help would be appreciated!! Cheers

I did it manually by going through the DMR.plot function and at the very bottom I deleted 'extras' in plottracks. I also have customized my DMR.plot in many other ways, but I would recommend the DMR.plot github for how it works. Cheers

Thanks, I would definitely encourage you and other users to fork DMR.plot() for your own purposes. There are a myriad of ways to visualise methylation, and DMR.plot() is provided as a) a sanity check and b) a starting point for users to fool around with Gviz, rather than being a wrapper for it. Of course, if it provides all you need for publication then that is fine too ;-)
