Best,

I opened an issue at https://github.com/Bioconductor/Contributions in order to submit my package to bioconductor. I accidentally supplied the wrong URL to the repository therefore I closed the issue. I tried to open a new issue for my package however due to my previous attempt this is not possible and I get the following message from the bioc-issue-bot:

Dear @...

You (or someone) has already posted a repository with the same name to our tracker.

See https://github.com/Bioconductor/Contributions/issues/

You cannot post the same repository more than once and packages are not allowed to have the same name.

If you would like this repository to be linked to issue number: 2675, Please contact a Bioconductor Core Member. I am closing this issue.

Can someone tell me how to fix this?

Kind regards Daan

You should probably send this question to bioc-devel@r-project.org

This has been resolved. There needed to be a manual intervention by the core team to remove the old issue from the issue tracker database. I have adjusted the code to also auto close issues with bad urls so that it would have failed before this point.
