Dear Bioconductor community,

I am working on a differential gene expressionon-data output from a DESeq2 analysis that someone else ran. I only have results in an excel format and I have no prior experience in DESeq2 (and limited experience with R).

I am wondering how I find information on what the different results columns mean, and was wondering if anyone recognizes this output and can anyone point me to a HTML source/pdf that lists what these are, exactly? enter image description here

I'm trying to figure out which column(s) correspond(s) to a standardized effect size estimate? And wondering whether "stat" column corresponds to some form of cohen's d for example?

Thanks for any advise or tips you may have!

This is all described in the tool documentation. Type ?DESeq2::results and see the Details section and go through the vignette: http://bioconductor.org/packages/devel/bioc/vignettes/DESeq2/inst/doc/DESeq2.html
