Hi everybody, I am unable to install Bioconductor packages from within a freshly installed R package (Raqua 1.11) when using the --> Packages & Data --> Package Installer --> BioConductor (binaries) path. I can see all the packages after clicking Get List, but when trying to install any one package then all I receive is "trying URL 'http://www.bioconductor.org/bin/macosx/2.1/PACKAGES' Content type 'text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1' length 11224 bytes URL opened ================================================== downloaded 10Kb" Any clue as to what is going on? Hannes, This is indeed not working correctly. Try selecting "Other Repository" and then in the field that pops up right next to it: http://www.bioconductor.org Select "Binary Format Packages" if you want to install binaries, else it will install source format. Press "Get List" Select package or (all) packages and press "Install Selected" Rob Note: Binaries have been built for the CRAN version of R. If you did a vanilla install from CRAN it will work. If you did build R on Tiger with gcc 4.0, you will have to install from source.
