Unable to install package curatedMetagenomicData using R 3.3.1

Dear all,

I have a query about installing package curatedMetagenomicData.

In the bioconductor website below, it's mentioned that the requires for R is R (>= 3.3.0),

http://bioconductor.org/packages/release/data/experiment/html/curatedMetagenomicData.html

I was however unable to install it in my R 3.3.1, error message as below:

install.packages("curatedMetagenomicData")
Warning message:
package ‘curatedMetagenomicData’ is not available (for R version 3.3.1)

Any idea on the discrepancy or clue on what I should do?

Can you update your post to include the outputs from sessionInfo() and BiocInstaller::isDevel()? The very latest version of curatedMetagenomicData requires R 3.4.0, so it maybe you're trying to install that without realising it.
