The Institute of Molecular Biology gGmbH www.imb-mainz.de) is a Centre of Excellence for Life Sciences, funded by the Boehringer Ingelheim Foundation, and located in Mainz, Germany. The group of Quantitative Proteomics is offering a postdoctoral position. The group applies next generation sequencing and advanced mass spectrometry to diverse biological research questions in epigenetics, gene regulation, RNA biology and genome stability. Recent exemplary project include comparison of transcriptome and proteome data (Dejung et al., PLOS Pathog 2016), large- scale temporal proteome data (Casas-Vila et al., Genome Res 2017) and integration of RNA-seq, ChIP-seq and quantitative proteomics (Jahn et al., EMBO Rep 2017).

Analysis of RNA-seq and ChIP-seq experiments using own and in-house provided pipelines
-
Integrate quantitative data from multiple omics sources (e.g. next generation sequencing and proteomics)
-
Perform personalized post-quantitation analysis (e.g. GSEA, comparison to published datasets)
-
Support lab members and collaborators with your bioinformatics skills
