I am running flowAI on some flow cytometry data with ~250k events, however I keep getting this error:

Error: vector memory exhausted (limit reached?)

I've looked it up and it's likely something that has changed since R 3.5 with the introduction of the R_MAX_VSIZE environment variable, but when I set R_MAX_VSIZE to something huge (200Gb) before running R freezes and needs a restart. My data isn't long enough to cause this error (26Kb), so it must be an issue with the QC report generated.

Update:

I've rerun flow_auto_qc() suppressing the generation of the html QC report and ran into the same error. I'm at a loss for whats causing this.

Any suggestions are appreciated since I'd like to use this tool in the near future.
