Does anybody know how one can get an estimate of the number of arrays, say, Affymetrix and Agilent have sold?

Hi Rafael, This is not a precise way but you could look at NOTE 2-PRODUCT SALES AND PRODUCT RELATED REVENUE in the 10-Q report at the following link: http://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/913077/000110465905054063/a05-1 8124_1 10q.htm Then divide that by an average price per array - not precise. Remember those values are in thousands. I haven't looked at Agilent but since it's also a public company you might be able to approach it the same way. Some of those figures are sometimes gladly provided by the companies directly to show good growth and revenue. Hope it helps, Paul -----Original Message----- From: Rafael A Irizarry To: bioc Sent: 2/28/2006 9:43 AM Subject: [BioC] Sales Does anybody know how one can get an estimate of the number of arrays, say, Affymetrix and Agilent have sold? _______________________________________________ Bioconductor mailing list Bioconductor at stat.math.ethz.ch https://stat.ethz.ch/mailman/listinfo/bioconductor
