Hi!

There are articles obtaining DEGs after correcting for tumor purity. Suppose we are comparing 3 tumors with 3 normal tissues, and that each tumor is, for the sake of simplicity, 80% pure, with the remaining 20% having identical gene expression to normal tissues. How to construct design matrix for such a situation? Is the following matrix a valid approach and the correct matrix?

Source N0 T0
N 1 0
N 1 0
N 1 0
T 0.2 0.8
T 0.2 0.8
T 0.2 0.8
