I discovered a potential bug in the great package copynumber but it seems that the contact person is not available anymore (while the package has been quite recently updated).
There haven't been any actual changes to copynumber since 2013 (other than bumping the version number by the core team), and a quick search at UiO doesn't bring up Gro Nilsen, so maybe he (she?) isn't there any more.
If this package is orphaned, one thing you could do is to explain what you think the bug is, and post that here. An alternative would be to create a fork, fix the bug, and then submit a patch for the package.
