I am attempting to load Bioconductor on a mac running OS 10.2. I have loaded R and have attempted to load BioConductor but when I type getBioC() the result is: Error in getBioC() : You do not have write access to /usr/local/lib/R/library Please check your permissions or provide a different 'destdir' parameter I am not sure how (or if I want to) change the permission on the "/usr/local/lib/R/library". one approach is to install as root, i.e. start via "sudo R" and then getBioC() ought to work.
