Hello all, I am analysing data of a methylation experiment using golden gate Illumina assay. I use the LIMMA package. Illumina?s beadstudio was used to obtain the normalised data which is a continuous variable (range 0-1). The analysis work out fine, and I am inclined to think the log scale is not essential. However I am not completely sure. My question therefore: Can the LIMMA package also be used for data that is NOT on a log scale? Many Thanks, Marco MPM Boks, Rudolf Magnus Institute of Neuroscience, Department of Psychiatry B01.206, University Medical Centre Utrecht, PO box 85500, 3508 GA Utrecht, The Netherlands, Tel: +31 30 2506370 Fax: +31 30 2505509 Email: mboks at umcutrecht.nl
