The Wall Lab in the Center for Biomedical Informatics at Harvard Medical School is accepting applications for a research scientist position in the field of comparative genomics. The work will involve the construction, application and analysis of a large database of phylogenetic profiles and associated evolutionary distances to understand biological function and network organization. Applicants should have extensive training in bioinformatics/computational biology. Excellent programming skills, including web programming, strengths in statistics, familiarity with genomic data analysis, and understanding of relational databases required. Experience with machine learning, python, ruby on rails, and MySQL desirable.
