I am trying to use plateCore to analyze a few plates, and I am having problems with wellAnnotation. I have a file that I want to use as wellAnnotation, but I get this message when I am trying to read it: Error: unexpected symbol in: "wellAnnotation<-read.table(file(path=("C:/Documents and Settings/sanjo05/Desktop/R files/CPR-03-26-10/CPR032610P1/wellAnnotation2.txt")) What am I doing wrong? Thanks Jose Sancho Genzyme Corp FCCF [[alternative HTML version deleted]]

Hi Jose, Send me a file with the first few rows of your well annotation table and I'll see if I can get it to import. I can't tell what's causing your error without seeing the well annotation file.
