On behalf of Giuseppe Testa Postdoc position on the bioinfomatics of epigenetic circuits in genome programming and reprogramming at the European Institute of Oncology in Milan Research: The laboratory of Stem Cell Epigenetics, headed by Giuseppe Testa and associate member of the EuroSyStem European Research Consortium (http://www.eurosystemproject.eu), invites applications for a postdoctoral candidate with a solid background in bioinformatics and an interest in the mechanisms of genome programming and reprogramming. The focus of the lab is on the epigenetic mechanisms that enable the programming of lineage choices during neurogenesis, their aberrations in cancer and their role in cell fate reprogramming. Through innovative mouse models that were recently established in the lab, the successful candidate will analyze RNAseq and ChIPseq profiles to define the genomic programs controlled by key epigenetic regulators in physiologically meaningful stages of neurogenesis, gliomagenesis and cell-fate reassignment. The position offers a competitive salary and the benefits of the International Postdoc Program (SIPOD) at the IFOM- IEO-Campus. Requirements: PhD in Molecular Biology, Engineering or Informatics with a solid background in bioinformatics. We are looking for a highly motivated scientist who wishes to join an interactive team at the cutting egde of research in epigenetics (Campaner et al. Mol Cell; Testa, Bioessays 2011; Natoli et al. Curr. Opin. Drug Discov. Develop. 2009; De Santa et al. EMBO J. 2009; Burgold et al. PLoS One 2008; De Santa et al. Cell 2007; Testa et al. Nature Biotechnology 2003). How to apply: For inquiries please contact Giuseppe Testa at giuseppe.testa at ifom-ieo-campus.it http://www.ifom-ieo-campus.it/research/testa.php
