Hi, After downloading the macintosh R-1.5.1 version as well as Macintosh version of Bioconductor, I follow the installation procedure described: I drag all inside the folder in the "library" folder of rm151. The first problem I have is to run Bioconductor: I write "getBioc()" into an R session but an error occurs. Would you please tell me the correct procedure for the installation of Bioconductor on a Macintosh, in other to have the graphical interface which could help me a lot in using all of these packages. The 'getBioc()' function gets the bioconductor package over the net to install them on your machine. To run bioconductor, you must start an R session then call the respective packages you are interested in by entering 'library(<package name="">)'. Describing more precisely the error would help us to see what is going on... > > Would you please tell me the correct procedure for the installation of > Bioconductor on a Macintosh, in other to have the graphical interface > which could help me a lot in using all of these packages. > Do you mean tcltk/tkWidgets ? > Sincerely > -- > Emmanuel EUGČNE > INSERM U570 > Faculté de Médecine Necker > Paris - France > > > _______________________________________________ > Bioconductor mailing list > Bioconductor@stat.math.ethz.ch > http://www.stat.math.ethz.ch/mailman/listinfo/bioconductor -- -------------------------------------------------------------- Laurent Gautier CBS, Building 208, DTU PhD.
