Hi All, I have several peptide sequences and what to know where they map onto to genome, I was using tblastn suite but results are very very slow. Can anyone suggest any module in R which could help solve the problem? Regards, -- Srinivas M. Try blat from UCSC. You can either use the web interface or download the executable. Sean On Sep 25, 2011 2:30 AM, "Srinivas M. Dear Sean, thanks for your quick reply. BLAT accepts peptides greater than 20 a.a, so i was wondering if Bioconductor provides any module to translate genome into six-frames and then perform a search against the same.
