Bioconductor basics course in Boston, 24-25 October -- space is limited Tentative agenda --- Oct 24 (Monday) 9am-12pm – Vince Carey (VJC, bioconductor core): introduction, software setup, basic programming and structures, annotation 12pm-1pm (lunch on your own) 1pm-4pm – Aedin Culhane (Dana Farber Cancer Institute): on clustering/ordination, reproducibility 4pm-5pm – VJC wrapup of basic concepts --- Oct 25 (Tuesday) 9am-10am – VJC setup, some treatment of short read, Rsamtools 1030am-12pm- Julie Zhu (U Mass Medical School) chip seq and ChIPpeakAnno 12pm-1245pm lunch on your own 1245-130pm continuation of chipseq/anno 2pm-5pm – VJC genetics of expression including intro to RNA-seq for allelic imbalance --- Course tuition: $350 academic, $750 commercial payable by check to Bioconductor Foundation of N.A., Inc., a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization.
