Bioinformatician-NGS The Campus Science Support Facilities GmbH (CSF) is a non-profit organisation providing scientific infrastructure to the institutions at the Vienna Biocenter. We are seeking an experienced Bioinformatician (m/f) to join the Next Generation Sequencing Unit. Major tasks will be the primary analysis of sequencing data, development of analysis pipelines and maintenance of software infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have the following skills and experience:- *) Education: a bachelor's or master's degree in biological or computing sciences. *) Proven ability to write robust, high-quality software. Practical working knowledge of several computer languages is required. *) Experience in developing web based applications, familiarity with HPC is an advantage. *) Experience with the analysis of biological high throughput data. *) High level of self-motivation, a desire to try out new technologies. *) Good personal interaction and communication skills, including a very good knowledge of English.
