Hi, Does anyone have any experience of using the 'affy' package to work with PrimeView human gene expression arrays? (product reference here: http://www.affymetrix.com/estore/browse/produ cts.jsp?productId=prod530005&categoryId=35760&productName=GeneChip%26% 23174%3B-PrimeView%26%23153%3B-Human-Gene-Expression-Array-#1_1) This is a new array type for me, and I am currently working through using the 'makecdfenv' package to generate a CDF environment using the CDF provided by Affymetrix. If anyone's already done this, though, I'd be grateful to hear from you. Thanks for your time, Daniel -- Daniel Hurley Department of Molecular Medicine and Pathology Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences University of Auckland Phone: ++6493737599 xt 81175 [[alternative HTML version deleted]]

If anyone's already done this, though, I'd be grateful to hear from you. Thanks for pointing out that Affy has a new chip. Since this is a conventional 3'-biased chip, makecdfenv will create the environment or package for you without any problems. Do you have a particular question?
