Dear whom it may concern, I'm working with the platforms as following: 1. Agilent-015354 Bovine Oligo Microarray (4x44K) 2. Affymetrix GeneChip Rhesus Macaque Genome Array [Rhesus] 3. Affymetrix GeneChip Mouse Gene 1.0 ST Array Since I'm quite pure biologist, I do have no idea how to find appropriate annotations (.db) for these platforms. I need to use them for virtaulArray. Would you please help me? Best Regards, Kaj -- output of sessionInfo(): sessioninfo() -- Sent via the guest posting facility at bioconductor.org.

Hi Kaj, Rhesus and bovine are both supported. Unfortunately, we can't have chip packages pre-made for every single thing in the whole world. However we have provided functionality that will allow you to generate your own package (whenever you can't find it already made). You can read more about how to do this here: http://www.bioconductor.org/packages/2.12/bioc/vignettes/AnnotationFor ge/inst/doc/SQLForge.pdf Follow the instructions carefully, and I expect you should be able to get the .db packages you need pretty easily. If there are any issues, please reply and I will help you out.
