Hello, I am looking for a tool that simulates gwa-data for a quantitative trait. I would like to have a matrix with 0,1,2 for the number of minor allels for about 200000 snps (e.g. in columns) and the phenotypes (the quantitative trait) in rows. Can anybody give me a hint? Thanks Hermann [[alternative HTML version deleted]]

Hi Hermann, Plink will do that: http://pngu.mgh.harvard.edu/~purcell/plink/simulate.shtml It also seems like GCTA will do so as well: http://www.complextraitgenomics.com/software/gcta/Simu.html Best, Jim On Sunday, September 29, 2013 10:38:24 AM, Hermann Norpois wrote: > Hello, > > I am looking for a tool that simulates gwa-data for a quantitative trait.
