Hi All, Does anyone know if there is a bc package that implements the active subnetwork scoring algorithm (or a derivative thereof) as described in: Discovering regulatory and signalling circuits in molecular interaction networks. Ideker, Ozier, Schwikowski & Siegel. Bioinformatics. 2002. http://bioinformatics.oxfordjournals.org/content/18/suppl_1/S233.abstr act Thanks.

Hi Benjamin, The BioNet package http://www.bioconductor.org/packages/release/bioc/html/BioNet.html is somewhat related to Ideker's approach. It uses expression data and reference networks (protein-protein interactions, primarily) to locate functional modules. There are a few other candidates for this style of analysis which can be found under the BiocViews topic "Network Enrichment": http://www.bioconductor.org/packages/release/BiocViews.html#___Netw orkEnrichment Let us know if we can be of further help. - Paul On Feb 10, 2014, at 9:16 AM, Sidders, Benjamin wrote: > Hi All, > > Does anyone know if there is a bc package that implements the active > subnetwork scoring algorithm (or a derivative thereof) as described in: > > Discovering regulatory and signalling circuits in molecular interaction > networks. > Ideker, Ozier, Schwikowski & Siegel.
